Pune gay chat, without a photo
Golo is a free app for Pune gay chat and dating: a chat and dating app for gay and bisexual men in India, aged 18 and over, built without profile photos.
Pune and Mumbai share one entry in Golo’s State filter, Maharashtra, so in Pune the sort order matters more than the filter. The app is in Marathi too. Gay chat in India has the other cities.
Find men in Pune on Golo
It all happens in Browse, the first tab, and its Filters sheet.
Set Sort by to Nearby
In Filters, choose Nearby and tap Apply. Browse is built from the men nearest to you, and Nearby shows the men online right now first, nearest first, so online men near you come before online men in Mumbai.
Leave State on All states, or choose Maharashtra
Either way Mumbai stays in: it is in Maharashtra too. The sort is what keeps the grid local.
Turn on Online only
It shows only the men who are around right now.
Use Golo in Marathi
Settings (सेटिंग्ज), then Language (भाषा), then मराठी. Every screen follows. Marathi gay chat shows how to pick it on the first screen too.
Golo is in Hindi too. See Hindi gay chat, or Mumbai gay chat for the same filter from the other end.
What Golo says in Marathi
The words on the screen, as the app shows them. Handy for finding your way around the first time.

Golo is safety-first by design
On for everyone from the moment you sign up, except App Lock, which you switch on in Settings. Nothing here costs anything.
No profile photo, anywhere
Golo has no profile picture field at all. People read your name, age, position and a short bio — not your face.
An approximate distance, never your spot
Others only ever see roughly how many kilometres away you are, never your exact location.
Chat photos open once
A photo sent inside a chat opens exactly once, and then we delete it from our servers.
Messages clear after 30 days
Every message deletes itself after 30 days, so old conversations are not sitting on your phone.
App Lock and no screenshots
A PIN or your fingerprint in front of the app, and screen capture and recording are blocked throughout.
A phone number, nothing else
Sign up with your mobile number and a one-time code — no email, and no Google or Facebook login tying Golo to the rest of your life. 18+ only.
Common questions
Will men in Mumbai see me?
They can. The State filter cannot separate Pune from Mumbai, and Browse shows each person the men nearest to them. What they see is a display name, your age, your position, whether you have a place to meet, a short bio and an approximate distance. No photo at all.
Is Golo free?
Yes. Golo is free, with no ads and no paid tier.
