Gujarati gay chat, in Gujarati
Golo is a free app for Gujarati gay chat: a chat and dating app for gay and bisexual men in India, aged 18 and over, that works in Gujarati on every screen. There is no profile photo field at all, so nobody’s face is on show, yours included.
Gujarati is second in the app’s language list, right under English. Gay chat in India covers the other languages, and Golo compared with other apps shows how it differs.
Switch Golo to Gujarati
Pick it the first time you open Golo, or switch any time later in Settings.
On the first screen, pick ગુજરાતી
Golo opens on a list of its nine languages, each in its own script with the English name under it. Tap ગુજરાતી and the screen changes to Gujarati at once, so you can read it before you go on. Then tap Continue (આગળ વધો) and sign-up carries on in Gujarati.
Already signed up? Use Settings
Open Settings (સેટિંગ્સ), tap Language (ભાષા) under General (સામાન્ય), and choose ગુજરાતી. The whole app switches straight away, and you can switch back to English the same way.
Narrow Browse to Gujarat
In Browse (બ્રાઉઝ), tap Filters (ફિલ્ટર્સ), then State (રાજ્ય). State names stay in English in every language, so look for Gujarat written just like that, then tap Apply (લાગુ કરો).
Sort by Nearby
Browse starts on Last active (તાજેતરમાં સક્રિય): the men seen most recently come first. In Filters, set Sort by (આ રીતે ગોઠવો) to Nearby (નજીકના) and tap Apply (લાગુ કરો): men online now come first, then everyone else, each from nearest to farthest. To see only who is around now, turn on Online only (ફક્ત ઓનલાઇન). Before you meet anyone, read Golo’s Community Guidelines.

Golo is safety-first by design
On for everyone from the moment you sign up, except App Lock, which you switch on in Settings. Nothing here costs anything.
No profile photo, anywhere
Golo has no profile picture field at all. People read your name, age, position and a short bio — not your face.
An approximate distance, never your spot
Others only ever see roughly how many kilometres away you are, never your exact location.
Chat photos open once
A photo sent inside a chat opens exactly once, and then we delete it from our servers.
Messages clear after 30 days
Every message deletes itself after 30 days, so old conversations are not sitting on your phone.
App Lock and no screenshots
A PIN or your fingerprint in front of the app, and screen capture and recording are blocked throughout.
A phone number, nothing else
Sign up with your mobile number and a one-time code — no email, and no Google or Facebook login tying Golo to the rest of your life. 18+ only.
Common questions
Can I narrow it to Ahmedabad or Surat?
Not by city. The State filter stops at Gujarat, and Golo has no city or area search. Choose Gujarat, then sort by Nearby: men who are online come first, nearest first, then everyone else by distance.
Does choosing Gujarati show me only Gujarati speakers?
No. It changes the app’s own words, not the men in Browse. Golo has no language filter, your language is not shown on your profile, and messages are not translated.

Yes. Golo is free, shows no ads and has no paid tier.
