Hyderabad gay chat, without a photo
Golo is a free app for Hyderabad gay chat: a chat and dating app for gay and bisexual men in India, aged 18 and over, with no profile photos at all.
Hyderabad is in Telangana, and Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are separate entries in Golo’s State filter. Pick the right one, and set the app to Telugu or Hindi if that is easier than English.
Find men in Hyderabad on Golo
Everything here is in Browse, the first tab, and its Filters sheet.
Open Browse
It starts on All states, sorted by Last active, so the men seen most recently come first.
Filters, then State, then Telangana
Not Andhra Pradesh: that entry is the other state. Telangana keeps out men across the state line. Tap Apply.
Set Sort by to Nearby
Men online right now lead the grid, nearest first. Turn on Online only to see just them.
Switch to Telugu or Hindi
Settings, then Language, then తెలుగు or हिन्दी. The whole app changes straight away.
Golo in Telugu, screen by screen: see Telugu gay chat. In Hindi: Hindi gay chat. Other cities: Gay chat in India. Before you meet anyone, read Golo’s Community Guidelines.
Golo is safety-first by design
On for everyone from the moment you sign up, except App Lock, which you switch on in Settings. Nothing here costs anything.
No profile photo, anywhere
Golo has no profile picture field at all. People read your name, age, position and a short bio — not your face.
An approximate distance, never your spot
Others only ever see roughly how many kilometres away you are, never your exact location.
Chat photos open once
A photo sent inside a chat opens exactly once, and then we delete it from our servers.
Messages clear after 30 days
Every message deletes itself after 30 days, so old conversations are not sitting on your phone.
App Lock and no screenshots
A PIN or your fingerprint in front of the app, and screen capture and recording are blocked throughout.
A phone number, nothing else
Sign up with your mobile number and a one-time code — no email, and no Google or Facebook login tying Golo to the rest of your life. 18+ only.
Common questions
Can I keep my grid to Hyderabad only?
No. Golo has no city or area search, so Telangana is as narrow as the filter goes. Steps 2 and 3 above put the men online right now at the top, nearest first.
Is Golo on iPhone?
Not yet. Golo is an Android app; an iPhone version is not available.
