Golo is a free app for Hindi gay chat: a chat and dating app for gay and bisexual men in India, aged 18 and over, with every button and screen in Hindi. Nobody on it has a profile photo, so a chat starts with words, not a face.

Switch Golo to Hindi
One tap when you first open the app, or a few later in Settings.
On the first screen, pick हिन्दी
The first time you open Golo, it asks you to choose your language (अपनी भाषा चुनें) from a list of nine. Tap हिन्दी and the screen switches to Hindi as you tap. Then tap Continue (जारी रखें), and sign-up carries on in Hindi.
Already set up? Settings, then Language
Open Settings (सेटिंग्स), tap Language (भाषा) under General (सामान्य), and pick हिन्दी. The change applies everywhere at once.
Pick your state, if you want one
In Browse (ब्राउज़), tap Filters (फ़िल्टर), then State (राज्य). Every state and union territory is listed in English, even in Hindi, and Delhi has its own entry. Tap Apply (लागू करें) when you are done.
Find who is online now
Turn on Online only (सिर्फ़ ऑनलाइन). Browse is sorted by Last active (हाल में सक्रिय) to begin with; choose Nearby (पास के) under Sort by (इस क्रम में लगाएँ) to put the men online right now first, nearest first, instead. Gay chat in India has the other languages and cities.

Golo is safety-first by design
On for everyone from the moment you sign up, except App Lock, which you switch on in Settings. Nothing here costs anything.
No profile photo, anywhere
Golo has no profile picture field at all. People read your name, age, position and a short bio — not your face.
An approximate distance, never your spot
Others only ever see roughly how many kilometres away you are, never your exact location.
Chat photos open once
A photo sent inside a chat opens exactly once, and then we delete it from our servers.
Messages clear after 30 days
Every message deletes itself after 30 days, so old conversations are not sitting on your phone.
App Lock and no screenshots
A PIN or your fingerprint in front of the app, and screen capture and recording are blocked throughout.
A phone number, nothing else
Sign up with your mobile number and a one-time code — no email, and no Google or Facebook login tying Golo to the rest of your life. 18+ only.
Common questions
Will other men see that my app is in Hindi?
No. Your language is not on your profile. Others see a display name, your age, your position, whether you have a place to meet, a short bio and an approximate distance, plus whether you are online now and how many likes you have.
Does choosing Hindi show me only Hindi speakers?
No. Golo has no language filter. The setting changes the app’s words, not the men in Browse, and it does not translate messages.
Is Golo on iPhone?
Not yet. Golo is an Android app; an iPhone version is not available.
